Haiti Medical and Dental Care – Dr. Dom Delle Donne

Donate Medical and Dental Supplies & Medicines

Dear Friend,

My first dental mission with Speroway was in February 2010. Since then, I have served alongside their partners and volunteers on 7 mission trips to reach vulnerable families and communities with much needed dental care in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Haiti. My daughter Victoria even joined a volunteer team with me just before she started university.

I will be returning to Haiti this November for a medical and dental mission. With less than one dentist for every 10,000 Haitians, the most common dental treatment in Haiti is simple but extreme – the complete extraction of teeth.

We treat patients with decaying teeth and painful mouths and provide medicines, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. We also work with local dentists and community health workers to train in proper dental care and hygiene – creating one smile at a time.

Please help us raise funds for much needed medicines and supplies to reach children and communities in Haiti with quality medical and dental care.

Sincerely,

Dom Delle Donne

Haiti Dental Program

The majority of dentists practice in the capital city of Port-Au-Prince, with very few ending up in rural areas where dental care and oral hygiene is most needed. Few Haitians have ever been to a dentist or owned a toothbrush. We treat patients with decaying teeth and painful mouths and provide medicines, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. We also work with local dentists and community health workers to train in proper dental care and hygiene.
