Speroway supports many communities in need across Canada, including Indigenous communities, refugees, and other vulnerable groups. Through nearly 100 partners across the country—food banks, community centres, women and children shelters, churches, and schools—Speroway distributes food, warm clothing, and hygiene items to families in need.

Our Work in Canada

Speroway's work in Canada brings hunger relief and accessibility to personal care items to children and families in vulnerable situations.  We work across the country, from Montreal to Vancouver, by improving the quantity of available food (processed, fresh vegetables, fruits and dairy) and access to food and other basic products.

With nearly 100 partners- corporations, food banks, community centers, women and children shelters and churches- Speroway distributed 5 million lbs. of food, and $13 million dollars of Gift in Kind and Program in Canada.

Help support Hamilton's Gore Park Community Outreach Program.

Every Saturday, volunteers head to Gore Park Hamilton to hand out food and supplies to people who are in need extra support. The Gore Park Community Outreach program began with one person offering sandwiches to those in need at the park, and today over 400 people are being served every Saturday.

There is a great need in downtown Hamilton, with most support agencies not operating on the weekends. With your support, we can continue to provide food, water and basic supplies to those in need.
