Healthcare, Medicines & Supplies
Every day, thousands of children die because they don’t have access to basic medicines that could save their lives. Speroway's Medical teams help thousands of people by providing basic and specialized care. We work along side local health professionals and help to equip them with the necessary skills to provide sustainable healthcare. Your gift will help us provide lifesaving care and distribute essential medical supplies like antibiotics, anti-fungals, anti-parasitic drugs, deworming medications, painkillers, and surgical supplies.
Haiti Dental Program
The majority of dentists practice in the capital city of Port-Au-Prince, with very few ending up in rural areas where dental care and oral hygiene is most needed. Few Haitians have ever been to a dentist or owned a toothbrush. We treat patients with decaying teeth and painful mouths and provide medicines, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. We also work with local dentists and community health workers to train in proper dental care and hygiene.
Feeding Programs
Speroway focuses on school feeding to provide children and families with the essential nutrients they need. School feeding programs improve health and accessible education, which is instrumental in breaking generational cycles of poverty. Speroway's volunteer teams work with local schools to help staff and students by supporting the program and helping to prepare and distribute food. Your gift will not only supply a child educational and health benefits, but also contribute to gender equality, food security and poverty alleviation—all in a single intervention.
