Wezesha

Wezesha provides scholarships and mentoring to academically gifted, destitute young people to support their education from high school through university. In Swahili, Wezesha is the word for ‘empower’. We aim to empower motivated young people to use their skills to help others and make a difference in their communities – to be the next generation of role models and leaders.

Home of Grace

Speroway supports orphaned and disadvantaged children and youth through the Home of Grace care center in rural western Kenya by providing a safe and loving environment, daily nutritious meals, access to medical care, and an education.

Nicaragua

Speroway works in the rural Nicaraguan communities of Jiquilillo, Los Zorros and Padre Ramos. Activities and initiatives are pursued in collaboration with these communities and in partnership with organizations with a shared vision of alleviating poverty through improved education, accessible healthcare and enhanced self-employment opportunities.

Dominican Republic

Speroway’s partners provide thousands of meals monthly through community-based feeding programs to vulnerable children. Speroway also supports hundreds of children and youth through education and life skills training. Secondary and post-secondary scholarships and education support are also provided to bright and motivated youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Haiti

During the emergency-relief phase after Haiti’s earthquake in 2010, Speroway was there. Speroway continues to work in the country and provides nutritious meals through school feeding, orphan sponsorship, and student sponsorship programs. We also support education and health programs through partners like Mission of Hope Haiti, UCI Haiti, Mission of Mercy Ministries and Lift Kids Ministry.
