Tanya-Impact Nica 2021

$0 of $3,000 raised

Now more then ever our world needs kindness and compassion to get through the challenging circumstances that many will face in the future.  The common goal to live a life of purpose, impact and courage brought a group of us together to achieve just that.

We are committed to fund and support a home build project on the Pacific Northwest coast of Nicaragua to help a vulnerable family. Additionally, we hope to provide funding for nutritional support to families and children in this community through the purchase and delivery of family food baskets.

As a group,  our goal is to raise $20,000 and provide life-changing opportunities to a little piece of this world. Thank you so much for your support and believing in our dream of living a life of positive impact. Tax receipts will be provided for all donations.

Home Building Projects

Nicaragua has one of the highest housing deficits in Central America with over 78% of the population living in inadequate homes or are homeless. Lack of adequate housing causes families to live with a constant burden of uncertainty, stress and fear. Safe and decent shelter provides an opportunity for families to break generational cycles of poverty and build better, healthier, and more stable lives.

Speroway is raising funds to support the relocation and safe and adequate housing for low-income families in Jiquilillo, Nicaragua and surrounding areas.

Each home is built with a metal roof, windows and doors, interior walls and eco-friendly latrines. The homes are built with strong foundations and walls as Nicaragua experiences regular earthquakes and tremors. The cost to build a home for a family is $15 000 USD

Family Food Baskets

Speroway helps to provide proper nutrition and support to families and children in Jiquilillo.

Speroway works with the community to identify families in need of regular nutritional support. In doing this, we help to deliver family food baskets, which are loaded with nutritious food staples.

By delivering the food directly to their homes we are given the opportunity to identify other challenges or needs within these homes and work to better support them.
